WILL GIVE MEDAL AND FAN FOR HELP!!! Can someone please show me step by step how to do this problem?!? Picture attached below.
OMG...it took me forever to factor that (don't know why), but the factors come out to (2sinA-1)(-sinA-3). Set each of those equal to 0, like this:
How do you factor it?
Hello are you still there?
2sinA-1=0 AND -sinA-3=0
I am so sorry, I got called to tutor on tutor.com and I had to take it immediately! Didn't mean to make you feel abondoned!
2sinA=1 when you move the -1 over, and sinA = 1/2 when you divide by the 2. So the first thing we are looking for is where the sin of A is 1/2.
-sin3A=0 is 0 because when you divide 0 by anything you still have 0. So the second thing we are looking for is where the sin of A = 0. Let's look into those now...

So if sinA = 1/2, the 1 is "the side opposite" and 2 is "the hypotenuse". Let's label our triangle now.

In order to find out what this triangle is, it's a "special" one, we need to find the third side.

Can you tell from that what angle A's measure is?
A is 30 degrees.
sinA = 0 is an angle measure of 0. So the solutions are 30 degrees and 0 degrees. Sorry again I deserted you for a bit.
Its all good thanks for the help!
