I need help with this calculus problem! An object is shot vertically upward from the ground with an initial velocity of 224 ft/sec. At what rate is the velocity decreasing?

Need more information. Also, ugh.. ft. But we can always make some assumptions, such as shooting straight up, being able to ignore friction and such, and only take earth gravity in to account (9.8 N/m/s). (see where ft is playing up already) Anyhow, you are looking for the rate at which velocity is changing, or acceleration, which is Dv/dt, where your V = initial speed - drag and gravity
