I need some help with the rule for this expression. -I know the power rule is (a^m)^n = a^mn -The product rule is just adding exponents of like terms. -Power of a Product rule is (ab)^n = a^n b^n - Power of a quotient rule is (a/c)^n = a^n/c^n ; c =/= 0 Also for quotients; (a^m)/(a^n) = a^(m-n) (Basically, subtract the powers of like exponents) -Negative exponents rule is a^-n = 1/a^n OR 1/a^-n = a^n And if I have a negative exponent like this for example: p^-5/q^-9 can flip to q^9/p^5

but here's my question..

hartnn (hartnn):

because it instructs you to write in POSITIVE exponents only

so, use |dw:1404808988931:dw|
