OpenStudy (anonymous):

With my research phytoplankton is the answwer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure? @Maddiebee_33

OpenStudy (anonymous):

" Plants are similarly restricted mostly to the subantarctic islands, and the western edge of the Peninsula. Some mosses and lichens however can be found even in the dry interior. Many algae are found around Antarctica, especially phytoplankton, which form the basis of many of Antarctica's food webs." ........I'm pretty sure :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its krill no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No because that says that plankton "feeds" the krill which means that the plankton come before krill in the web or chain.
