What are the coordinates of the fourth point that could be connected with (–4, 7), (3, 7), and (3, –7) to form a rectangle? A. (–4, –7) B. (–3, 7) C. (–7, 4) D. (–7, –4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D?

OpenStudy (tester97):

I think you are right :)

OpenStudy (tester97):

Let me double check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okayyy

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

easiest method is just find the midpoint of both diagonals i.e. A to C and B to D and put in the place of D (a,b) and the mid point formula is x1+x2/ 2 , y1+y2 /2

OpenStudy (tester97):

Yes i checked it on graphing calculator its right. Next time you could just draw this out.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

|dw:1404857332011:dw| Never claim to know the "easiest" way.

OpenStudy (tester97):

See drawing it out works well in most cases ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
