OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

How about the area of a square?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oohhhhh wait is it C?

OpenStudy (tanya123):

A=a2 <-- Area of square

OpenStudy (tanya123):

A=wl <---- Area of rectangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because 1in^3 =1in

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Nope one cubic inch is not the same as one inch, the first is volume the second is a length. Do you see the difference?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but 1in^3 would be 1x1x1 right? so it would equal 1?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

$$\Huge 1\text{ in}^3=1(\text{ in})^3$$$$\Huge=1(\text{ in})\cdot (\text{ in}) \cdot (\text{ in}) $$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer should be 108 because I multiplied 6 x 9 x 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that's what i thought at first but now i'm not so sure
