Thank you! I had a 100 in Spanish I and Spanish II, but when it comes to actually putting words together and speaking to people. They don't teach you how to do that. I know the very basics, and I work with some people and one of my best friends speaks Spanish so they are going to try to help too. Thank you again though! I really appreciate your help!

Thank you! Any help would be appreciated! I would love to be able to talk about almost anything! :)

If you are speaking Spanish with your boyfriend parents use the formal person usted and ustedes don´t use tú person with older people if you want to cause a good impression. I am native Spanish speaker for more than twenty years.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! I definitely try to remember that! :) Do you have any other advice?

OpenStudy (gelidium):

When you try to speak Spanish please talk slowly, so the others can understand you better.

OpenStudy (gelidium):

Try to know about the native country of your boyfriends parents. You can get information about their culture, manners and typical things like kitchen, festivities, etc.

OK I will:) I definitely can't speak fast in Spanish by no means! lol :) I would get tongue tied myself let alone what other people hear! And I definitely will try to learn about that! :) He wants me to come to his families parties and stuff, and I'm really excited about it. We just don't know if my parents are going to let me go. :/

OpenStudy (gelidium):

If you need more help write me. Good luck.

Thank you! :) And I will! :)
