There are two main test for the presence of water: Usage of anhydrous Copper(II) Sulphate becomes hydrated(With water) turns light blue. Another method to test for water is by using anydrous Cobalt(II) Chloride which turns from light blue to pink in the presence of water and becomes hydrated.

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

I would go with the white anhydrous copper sulfate turning blue in the presence of water.
