"In world war two, and other wars, combat engineers were vital to the victory of their side. The combat engineers are not as known about as they should be, since many battles in WWII wouldn't have been won by the Allies if the combat engineers didn't do their duties, and surely the war might have taken a different course. Why aren't Allied combat engineers mentioned, known about, and pictured as heroes? Would WWII take a different course if Ally combat engineers didn't do their duties? Is the above a valid argument? If not explain how it could be better, please.

The combat engineers were relied on to fix, and maintain the vehicles, so they are pretty important. They're not given all the credit, but they played a vital role. It was more of a group effort of everything we had working together. :)
