Viruses that reproduce almost immediately after coming into contact with a host cell use which viral reproductive cycle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi there :) Welcome to Openstudy! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have any ideas what the answer could be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. lytic cycle B. infectious cycle C. lysogenic cycle D. temperate cycle

:) welcome to openstudy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what each of the cycles are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

noo lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

None of them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay then, let's start one by one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first one is they Lytic Cycle, which regardless of the type of host cell, all viruses follow: 1. A virus particle attaches to a host cell. 2. The particle releases its genetic instructions into the host cell. 3. The injected genetic material recruits the host cell's enzymes. 4. The enzymes make parts for more new virus particles. 5. The new particles assemble the parts into new viruses. 6. The new particles break free from the host cell.
