Can someone please help me solve this problem? -2a^0(x^-6y^3z^2)^-1 _________________________ 6x^4y^-1z^3

OpenStudy (loser66):

Question: in numerator, is it 0 exponent of a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (loser66):

You ... confused me, is it not that a^0 =1 for all a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats how the problem is shown... :?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2a exponent 0

OpenStudy (loser66):

=-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okayy..... lol :)

OpenStudy (loser66):

It becomes \[\dfrac{-2}{6x^4y^{-1}z^3}\] right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im confused, how where you able to leave the 2 alone?

OpenStudy (loser66):

then, just plug y^-1 up to numerator and we are done Actually, the problem should be "simplify", not "solve" problem
