OpenStudy (squirrels):

Ok soo.... There are 10 fruit all together. Oranges 4/10 also means 40% Apples 3/10; also means 30% Peaches 3/10; also means 30% Do you know why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and not to be rude i kinda need to finish this before school open on the 18 sir so can i just get the answere:(

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Ok i cant just give you the answer or you dont learn. Oranges; 4/10 <- that means 4 out of 10 oranges. If you expand that fraction like this \[\frac{ 4 }{ 10 } = \frac{ 40 }{ 100 }\] You may now use it as a percent since it is at its hundred making 40%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oo so its 40%

OpenStudy (squirrels):

1? lol i never asked you to answer anything dude. im just giving you an explanation

OpenStudy (squirrels):

yes it is 40%, correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thaks:)

OpenStudy (squirrels):

making Oranges; 40% Apples: 30% Peaches: 30%

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Now they ask for the probability that he selects either an orange or an apple? Orange: 40% Apple: 30% Now add those percents and you'll get your answer (:

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Add the percentages dude. Its not that hard :p

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Oranges: 40% Apple: 30% Add em

OpenStudy (anonymous):

70

OpenStudy (squirrels):

YASS lol thats correct (: Hopefully, you understand what i explained to you :p
