What reason does Juliet give for not being "more strange" to Romeo, which is more typical courting behavior? She is too much in love. Romeo already heard her feelings about him when she didn't know he was listening. She is not well-versed in the rules of courtship. She is too young to know better.

What is Romeo saying? Can I go forward when my heart is here? Turn back, dull earth, and find thy center out. (II, i, 3-4) Romeo is saying that he must follow his heart by going to Juliet. Romeo is telling Juliet that they can only be happy if they leave the "dull earth" and escape somewhere else together. Romeo is trying to escape from Benvolio and Mercutio's teasing. Romeo's world has turned inside-out: his unrequited love for Rosaline has been replaced by the mutual love with Juliet.
