What are the four different types of conflict, and is each one internal or external? I know there's Man vs Man Man vs Nature Man vs Society Man vs self But i need examples

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Man vs man CAN be external but can also be enternal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh sorry, about the internal part I was thinking about Man vs self

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't think of any good examples for the man vs society

OpenStudy (anonymous):

man vs man - two people arguing or conflicting in any way - external man vs nature - a person is stuck in the rain, its anything that comes naturally and is causing problems for the person - external man vs society - a person is feeling judged because he is wearing a striped shirt instead of a polka dot one - not sure if it is external or internal man vs self - "i dont know if i should get the chocolate bar with peanuts or almonds" - internal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hope that helps :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But man vs self is internal, because when you are facing yourself, you are fighting about what you want to do. For example, I am wanting to eat a piece of cake, but I also want to eat that candy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, veedot is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you guys so much did! iv been stuck on this for an hour do you think you could help me with one more??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not sure but i sure will try :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alrighty thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

provide an example of a literal, interpretive, and evaluative question about a well-known fairy tale or fable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

literal question is one that has an answer that is clearly stated in the text. saying "what is the main characters name?" would be one. its also called factual if that helps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

interpretive is a question whose answer is not stated clearly in the passage, but it has to be well, interpreted. like asking... why did he/she go to this place?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and evaluative is asking how it effects the reader. anything that has to do with the reader basically... like... how does red riding hood make you feel about going to your grandmothers house now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it made it a little clearer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good :) anything else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4. Choose a well-known fairy tale or fable and identify its theme i was thinking beauty and the beast and the theme would be that love can over come to look beyond the outside, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and dont judge a book by its cover???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think thats a great answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you guys take this to a new thread?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be better for me and veedot. Me so I won't get any notifications. Veedot so he can get an extra medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah, sorry, i didnt realize you were getting notifications

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i forgot about that too :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

man vs. self is the only one that's internal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its ok
