@hello_j

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area of the circle =pi.r^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think r=4.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then area=63.642?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pi is 3.14 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assuming each square represents 1 unit there are 9 whole squares and 2 half squares along the diameter. radius = 1/2 diameter so 5 3.14x25=78.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah never mind there are 8 whole squares

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so dg2 would be correct
