Please help ! Solve the following systems of equations (leave all answers in fractional form): 1. y = 2x – 5 y = 6x + 7 2. 4x + 3y = 5 2x – 5y = -17

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Hello, the first step to solving this question is to isolate one of the variables. Since you know "y" is equal to both "2x - 5" and "6x + 7", you can make these equations equal to each other, so you can solve for x. Once you have x you can just sub it into one of the equations and solve for y with the x and y you will have the coordinate where the two lines intersect write it as (x,y) for example if you had x =3 and y =4 then you would have the point (3,4) Follow the same process for the next part

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Fractional form means they want whole numbers if you have any questions feel free to ask
