y = 2x^2 + 1 How many real solutions are there? No Solution Infinite solutions One Solution Two Solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got One solution!

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

ok if you make x = 1 that makes y = 2(1)^2 + 1 = 3 now try x = 2 or any real number you like so...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is two?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

You had this question yesterday ... how many times do you keep asking the same question over and over... omg !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no no. This one is different!

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no not 2 as I said ANy ( ie MANY, MANY) numbers for x and y will fit

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

so which option?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be infinite solutions.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):
