what is the function of enzyme peptidase and trypsin

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

peptidase - i assume it has to do something with the cell wall. Building cell walls? Trypsin- Made in the pancreas. Its for protein metabolism in the small intestine. However, its inactive when it enters the small intestine. I think it becomes active by the low pH in the small intestine pH~6. Trypsin will activate other inactive enzymes (zymogen or proenzyme) like chymotrypsin, lipase, amylase, etc etc for fat/carbs/protein metabolism.
