what is meant by integral kernel??

OpenStudy (kainui):

It's usually just a function you multiply by that transforms you from one domain to another that's usually simpler to solve your problem. So you've probably dealt with either the laplace or fourier transform, right? The little e^st is your kernel that gets you from one to the other when you integrate.
