factor k^2+kf-2f^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where are you stuck?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: break -2f^2 into -f^2 -f^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that doesnt make sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course, that just a hint, you have to apply that hint into your problem OK, one more offer: \[k^2-f^2-f^2+kf\] the first 2 terms can be factored as (k+f)(k-f) the last 2 terms is...? ( you factor f out) what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

figured it out k^2 + kf - 2f^2 = k^2 - kf + 2kf - 2f^2 = k(k - f) + 2f(k - f) = (k + 2f)(k - f)

ok, good, your way is better than my way. hihihi... \(\rightarrow\) you are better than me. hihihi
