.

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

looks good to me

OpenStudy (asevilla5):

looks correct like @kirbykirby said

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

The first one is correct, Joanna

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

I think the answer to that one is B.

OpenStudy (yttrium):

Based on the graph, B is the best choice.

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question 4 is right! its true.One-to-one means that each value of the range will generate a distinct value of the domain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look the f(-2). is the same as f(x). u need to compare the x values with the piece wise functions. check x = -2. of the domains and then plug in the appropriate function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i';l just do this one for you, so you can check the rest yourself. f(-2) = 4? when x = -2, there have three functions and domains, x <1 x=1 x>1 compare the since x = -2, compare with each domain whether it qualifies, if it does then choose the function beside it and plug in the value for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(-2) = x -2 which is < 1 so i choose the function beside it.= it says f(x) = 2*x , f(-2) = 2*-2 = -4. so the first one is wrong. i hope you understand the question now and able to do the rest yourself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2<1 that's what i mean by f(-2) = x= -2 which is < 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Lion.k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes you right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait a sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one is correct aswell

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(4.9) = 5 is correct

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

I agree that f(-3.4) = -4 but f(4.9) is not equal to 5

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

i agree with that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i actually think it is..f(4.9) is 5.

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

f(4.9) is 4, and you can see it in the graph as well

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

(well sorta lol)

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

f(4), f(4.1), ..., f(4.8), f(4.9), f(4.99), f(4.999) are all equal to 4 but f(5) = 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup i drew the graph..and kirby is right! f(4.9) = 4

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

i agree \(\checkmark\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup stick with the asnwers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the absolute value the graph wouldn't be on the negative side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Q10 absolute value function cannot be one to one..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be true. while Q9 i'm not sure..

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

nvm ya 10 is false, and 9 looks right haha
