Multiply: (n-5)(n-1) Can someone show me how to solve this cause i have tons like it i just need to know the formula? Please and thankyou!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you have to do is multiply it out. 1) you have to take the first term in the first set of parentheses and multiply it to the terms in the second set of parentheses. In this case it's the n. 2) you have to take the second term in the first set of parentheses (in this case -5) and once again multiply it to the terms aim the second set of parentheses . 3) then you combine the products that you got into one equation 4) and then combine like terms.

And then you get your final answer.
