@johnweldon1993 @midhun.madhu1987 @MaimiGirl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let's pick it up step by step. if arc ab=100 then arc adb becomes immediately solvable. it is 260 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the radius is 260 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a radius cannot be measured in degress, only a unit value. At the point A, the line AC is tangent to the circle, therefore the circle and the line share that common point. Same goes for line BC at point B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then whats the radius sorry I'm really bad at math and i kinda need this answer right now but i appreciate you trying to explain this to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm afraid you misunderstood the question. It does not ask for the radius. It's asking for the equation which should be in the form x^2+y^2=something(radius). You won't find the equation solely by knowing the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know it doesn't but my teacher asked for the raius of circle k anyway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

radius*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aha. okay I'll give it a shot and see if I can come up with it in the next couple of mins

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hhhh oh wow the answer is right there. I was thinking so much in terms of angles, cosine law and sine law that I forgot to just look at the graph as it is. The radius is 5 of course. The values given are proportional to the squares on the graph. ac=7 (it's also 7 squares)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as they should be. The drawing was done clumsily so whoever sees it would think it's not proportional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your the best lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're welcome. I apologize for the awkward delay it shouldn't have taken me that long

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i wish i could give u more than just one medal lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um for question 2a i got 100 deg is that right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course yes. It's the same measure as the arc AB

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you i just want to make sure i get my answers right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. good luck with the rest :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)
