I will medal and fan!!!!! Solve the inequality for r. - 3r - 33 > - 9r + 27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) add \(9r\) to both sides 2) add \(33\) to both sides 2) divide both sides by \(6\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey ur supposed to explain it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

group like terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is my best explanation i cannot think of another and there is no grouping of like terms here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example -3r and -9r are like terms so bring them to one side and -33 and +27 are like terms so group them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

start with \[- 3r - 33 > - 9r + 27 \] and add \(9r\) to both sides the \(-9r\) on the right will go away, and you will have \(6r\) on the left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ofcourse there is @chikis33 can u tell me exact answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean u might have answers in ur book

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.r < - 10 B.r > - 5 C.r > 10 D.r < 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those are the answers of the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok do u know how to solve equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok 1 step bring like terms to one side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont change > sign it will remain as it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@chikis33 it must not take much time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

say me what are u getting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u must get -3r+9r>27+33 r u getting this?
