I have an M&M Lab where I use a vernier caliper. For indirect measurement, you must find the volume, diameter, M & M thickness and radius of the m&m's in a circle. For trial one, I got 75 cm cubed for the volume, 113.3 cm for the diameter, and 56.7 cm for the radius. For the second trial, I got 83 cm cubed for the volume, 127.7 cm for the diameter and 63.9 cm for the radius. Now, I'm suppose to find the m&m's thickness in cm. I thought that I should use the equation v= 3.14r^2. But, my answers for thickness aren't coming out right. I would appreciate any help given.

it is in a form of a cylinder, the volume of a cylinder is \[\large{V=Bh=\pi r^2h}\]\(B\) is the cross-sectional area of the M&M in a form or shape of a circle, so \(B=\pi r^2\) \(h\) is the thickness of the M&M, same unit of measurement as the diameter or radius of the base of the M&M

Thankyou so much! Also, I found in error on my data and I was able to go back and fix it. I appreciate the help that you have given me.
