*Many companies have been downsizing their products. They reduce the dimensions of their packaging so the items look the same but hold a smaller amount of the given product. The price remains the same but there is less product in the package. Why do you think they are doing this? And, do you think it is a fair practice?

If Company A sells 1.08 grams for one cent, then lowers the amount to 1 gram each cent, I will have to pay more for each gram. This is a sly way of earning more money. In moderation, it is only "inflation", but when taken to the extremes it is pretty much cheating people out of their money (and (may) result in boycott) :)
