The formula to find the volume is
OpenStudy (anonymous):
"r" being the radius and "h" being the height
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so 70?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Try again
To solve it you have to multiply 7x7.
Then multiply that answer by 10.
It should look like;
7x7=49
Then
49x10=?

Does this one give you a formula too?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no

to help lol

Volume of a cylinder is \[\pi r ^{2}h\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh lol :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Where r is the radius and h is the height f the cylinder.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Put the values of r and h in the formula and you will get the answer. :)

b. maybe not sure tho...

Hey there @styx_skunks
OpenStudy (anonymous):
In that figure, you have a cuboid and a half cylinder. So you can find the volume of the cuboid by the formula length * breadth * height
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Now if you wanna find the volume of the half cylinder, you can apply the formula \[\pi r ^{2}h \] and divide it by 2.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Are you there? @styx_skunks

I haven't drawn the full figure. Can you understand from this or should I make another one?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
If diameter is 5mm, radius is 5/2 = 2.5 mm
