A primary consumer is an organism that would eat grasshoppers. fish. plants. mice.
@SolomonZelman
@aryandecoolest
A primary consumer is an organism that would eat plants. Sorry, I read it wrong the first time.
thanks!(: could you help me on a couple more?
Go ahead! :)
The process that converts light energy from the sun to chemical energy stored in glucose is called aerobic respiration. photosynthesis. anaerobic respiration. fermentation.
Photosynthesis. Plants use this to convert light to energy. :)
Plants and algae that convert sunlight to food energy are called producers. primary consumers. tertiary consumers. decomposers.
Tertiary consumers
:)
thank you so much!
Carbon is removed from the atmosphere and put into food through photosynthesis. respiration. decomposition. diffusion.
It is removed photosynthesis (as carbon dioxide) to form glucose Respiration does not require it, it in fact produces carbon dioxide Decomposition produces carbon as carbon is locked in compounds in plants and animals and... everything really. When stuff decomposes it is released. Diffusion is the movement of particles from a high to a low concentration - this is how carbon dioxide gets into the stomata of leaves for use in photosynthesis
Of the following reactions, which one produces oxygen gas? Fermentation Anaerobic respiration Aerobic respiration Photosynthesis <--- me choice am I right?
Yup! :)
Explain in detail how photosynthesis follows the law of conservation of mass AND the law of conservation of energy.
Gosh....
I know, I'm really stumped on this one
/:
The law of conservation of mass states that in ALL chemical reactions, matter is neither created nor destroyed. The law of conservation of energy states that in ALL chemical reactions, energy is neither created nor destroyed. Photosynthesis is a chemical reaction so it must obey the above laws. You can see that no mass is created or destroyed because all the atoms present before the reaction are present in the same quantities after the reaction. No energy is created or destroyed either. Light energy is simply converted into chemical energy.
Does that make sense?
not really /: i suck at science
When an organism from a higher trophic level eats an organism from a lower trophic level all of the energy is converted to mass. all of the energy is converted to heat. most of the energy is converted to mass. most of the energy is converted to heat.<----- would this one be right ..?
Photosynthesis takes light, and carbon, and converts it. It doesn't create energy out of nothing. It converts light energy to chemical energy.
Thank you so much!!!
was that one right?^^
Yes. :)
Where does cellular respiration occur? In the cytoplasm. In the mitochondrion. In the cell membrane. In the chlorophyll. last question.(:
Cellular respiration occurs in the mitochodrion
THANKS SO MUCH!
are you good at writing?? like in Language arts?
Not a problem :) And I can be, watchu got?
Why is the argument ineffective? In a paragraph of 7-10 complete sentences, explain why the following parts of the argument are ineffective, and how they can be improved: Claim Support Conclusion Clincher Point of View Transitions Submit your review of the argument. Do not write a complete argumentative essay. Topic and Question Advertising: Should companies be allowed to advertise to children? Ineffective Argument I think that advertising to children is necessary. How else will we know what we can buy? I think that children are not aware of the products that are available. Most children don’t own cars and can’t drive to stores to look around. The only way we know what we can buy is by seeing advertisements on TV. My friend really likes advertisements, too. He said, “How will we know what to buy if we don’t see advertisements?” Seriously, children are consumers, too. We know what we like and we ask our parents to buy these products for us. I know that I like certain cereals, but how would I know that if I did not see advertisements? I love those commercials! Kids are people, too.
so I need to write reasons why the argument is ineffective and include Claim Support Conclusion Clincher Point of View Transitions. Ive been stuck on this for like 3 days /:
Gosh, I don't have time right now to answer it. But if you don't have it in about n hour or so. I can take a deeper look and help. Okay?
I just have to have it submitted by 10 o'clock you promise you'll be back to help?
What time zone are you?
Haha, I live in the USA. Florida.
Okay. Im in Cali. :) Tell you what. Message me in an hour if you're still stumped. And I promise to help. :)
But you gotta message me, so I get a notification. Okay?
okay:)
Okay. :) One hour.
You there?
yes
still havent got that one question essay thing /:
Okay. :) 7-9 sentences?
7-10*
yes sir. but please include the claim and stuff this is worth 100 points, and if I dont pass this i cant go to highschool /:
Sir sounds weird....;) And this is pre HS!? Dang....
sorrrry, thats just how I was raised haha, country girl with manners here(':
hello @JahnkeSwim
This argument is ineffective, because the author of the argument sates, "I think" too much. The author uses a repeated word, which in turn, negates his argument. The author uses no supporting evidence and fact to up-hold his argument. Quoting that his friend likes advertisements to, bears no weight in favor or against his argument. It is clear that the author is a kid, this creates the conflicting idea, that his point of view is bias. And in conclusion to his argument, there is no defining transitions that separate his points. The author could improve his argument by using other phrases than, "I think". The author should find facts and/or statistics to support his argument. To polish off the argument, this author should finish with an example of a time when an ad has mutually benefited a chid and a company.
Wow, there we go.... That okay?
thats amazing. thank you so much!
negates?
bias?
Bias: That an argument is too heavily influenced by someones opinion instead of facts. Negates: to make seem wrong, or false
okay(:
You good? :)
I think so.(: thank you so much
No problem. :) Remember to close the question. :)
Thank you so much! and I won't thank you!
