I know the answer but I don't know how to get to the answer
Post the question, I'm sure someone will try to help. I will try to help if I can. :)
This is the answer
The question is the attachment
It's 2y to the power of 2-3=5y+1 the answer is y=-4 to the power of 2
It prevail and it sucks
Pre-cal
can you write it out using the equation function. because your power seems multiplicaation to me in the attachment. it's a bit confusing.
like can you write out the problem. I don't see the corelation of your attachment and your post.
\[2y \sqrt{2-3}=5y+1\]
the answer is
\[y=-4\sqrt{2}\]
I don't know how to get to it tho
@babalooo
sry, i was having dinner. is the equation correct?
Yes the equation is correct it came right out of the book sorry I wasn't near a computer
@babalooo
question, is that exponent or multiplication. reading from your previous post, you said it's power...
are you sure it's sqrt(2-3) because wouldn't that give you an imaginary number
because if it's the equation you showed me 2y(sqrt(-1)=5y+1 and that would be 2y(i)=5y+1. which is no where near your solution. can you perhaps post a picture of the equation or something. is it to the power of (2-3) or is it squareroot?
It's square root sorry I always do that and I did post a picture on my first post of the equation and a picture of the answer after it too @babalooo
hmmm.. i can't seem to get your solution or anywhere close to it
