OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-7<7 x+11<7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you solve those?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok now the signs wont flip because we wont be dividing by a negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got this as an answer (4,14) but it says its wrong there's another way to write this notation but it says its wrong as well it is x l 4 < x < 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where you get 4 from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5+9<x<5+9=4<x<14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you got the solutions right but you have to combine the ranges

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a<x<b a=4 b=14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 4<x<14?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!
