English: What does this mean? "In a sense, it is Arthur's very simplicity and earnestness that enables the downfall of his reign." Is it a good thing or a bad thing, also add extra details to it.
Have you ever heard the expression, "Nice guys finish last." ? I think it's that kind of a thing going on. I wouldn't call it good or bad. Arthur is described as being too genuine and sincere that maybe he let people take advantage of him. That's how I would interpret it. It's just one line though, I don't know what story it's referring to, so hard to say for sure.
What type of characteristics would that be? Loyalty, chivalry, aristocratic, or others?
Ehhh I dunno >.< English is so harrrrd, grrrr! I would think he's being described as loyal. Those are the traits I think of when I'm thinking loyal: Earnest, Sincere... The simplicity though, I dunno :d Just my thoughts...
Okay, thanks @zepdrix @jesstho, any ideas?
please ask this question on the English page
@TaylorS11, I understand, but if you could tell that if I post this question down in the English group, no one will answer it. Believe me, I've posted many basic questions over there before.
Yeah, well people will and should report this, even though you can't get responses in the English section, it is against the code of conduct.
