ok i have a question i factored three of theses problems.... and -> if you can help me with my problem that would be great and i will give medals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x^2y^2 - 2xy^2 - 8y^2 y^2(3x^2)+y^2(-2x)+y^2(-8) y^2(3x^2-6x+4x-8) y^2(3x(x-2)+4(x-2)) y^2(3x+4)(x-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the first one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 + 10x + 25 2*x*5=10x (x+5)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the second one

OpenStudy (precal):

second one is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 - 36 (x+6)(x-6) << perfect quare

OpenStudy (anonymous):

third one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that there all correct thats not my question.

OpenStudy (precal):

third one is correct and is called difference of squares

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is my question>>>>>>>>>>>> Do the polynomials in parts A, B, and C have a common factor? Explain your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Try dividing first one by 2nd and 3rd.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u hv 3 poly. right???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u need common factor??? of d 3??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u know how to divide poly???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's the problem..!!! e.g. 8=1,2,4,8 all are factors of 8. your 1st poly may hv more factr though u hv factorized. we cannot depend on this. 2nd n 3rd are ok. so i m suggtng u to divide 1st by 2nd and 1st by 3rd. learn how to divide.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i checkd..cannot divide it..no commn factor i think.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx
