Laura is baking a cake. The recipe says that she has to mix 64 grams of chocolate powder to the flour. Laura knows that 1 cup of that particular chocolate powder has a mass of 128 grams. She added two over three of a cup of chocolate powder to the flour. Should Laura add more chocolate powder to make the exact recipe, or did she go over and by what amount?

Hi, and welcome! Try this question to start with: If she needs 64 grams, and she knows that 1 cupful is 128 grams, how many cupfuls does she need?

Assume the problem is correct (no amount the flour is informed), 128*2/3=85.3333>64. So she goes over by 85.3333-64=21.3333. The problem didn't tell any ratio of the chocolate to the flour, so I am not very sure about my answer.
