An original rectangle has a length of 14 and a width of 12. What happens to the area if the new width is double the original width?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is doubled A=lw so 12 times 14 is 168. If 12 is doubled that is 24. So now do the new area problem using the new width and the length
