(Random Question to fufill my curiosity) How does dust in the air not get into our eyes? I was looking at a window with sunlight coming in and I saw thousands of dust particles everywhere. Noone usually even thinks about it, but it got me thinking. Since our eyes have both a much larger radius than any dust particle, and it is very sensitive why don't they always get stuck in our eye?
Ohh good question. And here I sit without a definite answer... :) My speculation is the following: It does get in our eyes. But as you may know, dust is ~80% dead skin particles, which is soft organic matter. So you don't have to fear it scratching on your cornea and destroying it. In solution, dust should also be colourless. And with every blink, you wash it down.
Good answer!!
Thank you
