what is the question
OpenStudy (imstuck):
That's a very vague question. Could be a yes and could be a no! Whatcha got for us?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
I cant figure out why it keeps saying error in my calculator
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
well is it because B and C aren't the same size...
B is a 3 x 3 matrix and C is a 1x3 matrix...

Why do they have to be the same?
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
Well I thought for adding and subtracting they needed to be the same side
but I haven't done them for ages
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ohh okay
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
my only thought is you can find 3B
by multiplying every term in B by 3... and write new matrices
3B - C and then write not solution because of different sizes..
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
oops 3B + C

thank you(:

Could you help me with one more thing?
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
ok... if I can
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I dont really understand how to separate this function into f(x) and g(x)
OpenStudy (campbell_st):
well looking at it i'd use
f(x) = x^2 and g(x) = x^2 + 6
so then
\[F(x) = \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}\]
that seems the most obvious to me
