Two Statistical Questions!
Now if someone could help, I'd be set :)
@Hero
What do you not understand about number 1?
It's tricky.
I'm thinking B or D
Okay why B and why D?
I'm choosing B because it said he actually gets rashes from his backyard. But in the question, it says nothing about sap on the plant. Which is why I'm leaning to B
So you're saying by picking b that if he ate those same berries in someone else's backyard he wouldn't get them?
It's possible.
He could have an allergy.
Are you reading B carefully?
It is not a logical answer.
I guess I'm not reading it carefully enough then. Would D become the correct answer?
That is a possiblity.
I agree with what you said earlier, the question mentions nothing about Sap. I would say the answer is neither B or D.
D is still a possibility though. Because C is exactly the same. It says nothing about a digestive problem .
After reading it a few times I believe D to be the most logical answer.
It makes sense.
What about you, @aum , what do you think?
I am inclined to think B. If the statement in C and D are facts, then they are causation and not correlation. Whenever Jack eats white berries from his backyard he gets rashes. So there is a correlation. Jack gets rashes ONLY when he eats white berries picked from his backyard. I don't interpret that as Jack not getting rashes when he eats berries from elsewhere. Maybe his backyard has apple trees and walnut trees. He does not get rashes when he eats those. Only when he eats berries he gets rashes. So there is a correlation.
Hm.
I think I'll go with your answer
Can you help on me the second question, please?
You prove a good point with the hidden fact that their could be other fruit in the yard.
Thanks for trying anyway, Zen
Can you help with the second one? If you don't wanna, it's fien.
@Hero
