OpenStudy (kl0723):

\[z^{2}*z ^{-5}*x ^{6}*x^{-4} = z ^{-3}*x ^{2}\]

OpenStudy (kl0723):

you can move every term with a power up in the numerator and make its power positive :) and when bases multiply the powers add

i dont understand how you got -5 and -4 though.

OpenStudy (kl0723):

pretty simple: postive x^5 in the denomiantor moves to the top and becomes x^-5... change the sign of the power :)
