HELP!!!!!!!!!! A triangle with vertices at A(0, 0), B(0, 4), and C(6, 0) is dilated to yield a triangle with vertices at A(0, 0), B(0, 10), and C(15, 0). The origin is the center of dilation. What is the scale factor of the dilation? 1.5 2 2.5 3

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

There are only two moving parts 4==> 10 and 6 ==> 15. What ratio will do that? BTW - Show your work. Do NOT just post a question and start tagging.

Idk.. and uhh.. okay?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

If you cannot identify a ratio between two numbers, you cannot solve this problem. Prove it: Ratio required to get from 1 to 3? Ratio required to get from 6 to 3? Go!
