A port allows a hard ware in your CPU: True or False? Any help guys?
Well, the word "port" has a few meanings. In hardware, it is a point of connection.

Oh okay and the CPU is the "brain" of the computer right?
Thank you ! :D
The CPU is the physical part that does all the math stuff, so yah, the brain. Now, some people say "CPU" and mean "computer." A computer is a collection of parts to make a machine that, well, computes... does math. That is about it. Seems kind of vague. Some of the original computers were mechanical. The modern ones are electrical. They are still machines made of parts that do math. So the SPU is the most math doing part of the entire machine. And it does such complex math so well, so quickly, that you are able to see "text" typed on the screen. All the text really is made of is math! A calculation of what dots to put where to add up to pictures of he alphabet.
A port is an entry point for a hardware/software.
Thanks guys! |dw:1410547228582:dw| Here is a potato for your help (:
