help!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your answer will be negative because your diving down not coming up. If you solve the equation the way your math teacher taught you, you'll be fine. 1. Find her speed 2. Calculate how long she was diving. 3. Calculate her change in position 4. Your answer will be negative

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

When you mean "down", do you mean actually going down in the -y direction sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or if your homeschooled how you learning coach, or someone taught you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a lesson on this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didnt and i am homeschooled

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Well if going "down" is referring to the actual -y direction in that sense, then yeah I would agree with @Jennaluv on that one. (It's just a weird question because in the conversational sense, "driving down" doesn't necessarily imply driving in some "down" direction). But maybe I am overthinking it :P And also, it would have been more helpful if the problem considered what frame of reference to use.

@kirbykirby do you know what The sign rules of multiplication are?
