The patient is nauseated with vomiting.......... Will be given Zofran or Pherergan for the nausea. The patient will have epigastric pain and will either radiate depending on how far the bacteria has traveled. The patient will be dehydrated and hypokalemia (low sodium from vomiting). So an saline-IV line would need to be placed.
