Medal! I solved everything I was wondering if someone could look over my work I'd really appreciate it i've got a test coming up monday :/ 54. I got 1x. 56 i got a^2.25/10. 58 i've got .25/x^4. 60) i've got 2√4a^9y^12 62) i've got 1/a^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't see 54 and 56 clearly, sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry about that 54) (2x^3/2)(4x)^-1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and for 56.) (-2a^3/4)(5a^3/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the answer for 56 supposed to be a fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well For 56 i got a^2.25/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it supposed to look like \[\frac{ a ^{2.25} }{ 10 }\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is supposed to be \[\sqrt{2}x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you please explain it to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the powers would are 3/2 and -1/2 which is basically \[\frac{ 3-1 }{ 2 }\] So that would make the power in the answer 1/2 which is the same thing as squaring it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh you are talking about 54 :) i got 1x for that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, yeah. I'm talking about 54, sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's the answer for 54.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

56 is supposed to be \[-10a ^{1.75}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how is it 1.75 for the exponent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7/4 is the exponent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, hold on. I need to recheck my answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, your answers for 54 and 56 are correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) thanks so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

58 is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You made a mistake on your variable for 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you meant 2 sqrt 4x^9 y^12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You put "a" instead of "x"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just caught that :) thanks for telling me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For 62 I got 1/a^(3/10)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you accidentally forget the 10 for the denominator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, other than that, your answers were perfect!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so very much for your time i really appreciate it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I hope you do great on your test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for the medal! You're welcome
