2x-3y=8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x + 3y = 8 Usually you would solve for y to get the equation in Slope Intercept Form. (y = mx + b) Where (m) is the slope and (b) is the y intercept of the graph. First get the y by itself by subtracting 2x and getting it to the side with the 8. You now have this... 3y = -2x + 8 Now Isolate the variable (y) by dividing by 3. You now have this... y = - 2/3 + 8/3 Now since you have this in Slope Intercept Form, you know - 2/3 is the slope of the line and 8/3, or 2 2/3, is the y intercept on your graph. GOOGLE?!?!?!
