f(x)=11x-12 then simplify the expression: f(x)-f(-6)/x+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to plug in the values for the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did but im quite not sure how to simplify all the way.

@hotchellerae21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got here as fast as i could

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hotchellerae21 plz help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i was trying to work out the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, thanks @hotchellerae21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take the first part of the equation f(x) what does it equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nelsonjedi farthest I've gone to simplifying is: \[\frac{ 11x-90 }{ x+6 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

F(x)= 11x-12 so we plug that in and we now have 11x-12 -f(-6) /x+6. Correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and you have to plug in the -6 to F(x) and you get -66-12 and you plug the into were f(-6) was @nelsonjedi
