During the French and Indian War (Seven Years War), why is the Battle of Quebec considered the turning point in the war?

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

I assumed the answer to this question was that the Americans and British won and then they won all of the other battles. However, when I looked up the Battle of Quebec, they said the American lost. (On all sources) How can the battle be the turning point of the war

This was a loss of France and the French commander, marquis de Montcalm was wounded and died the next day, the fall of Quebec and the capture of Montreal the next year ended the fighting in North America
