How Would I answer this? Thanks!

myininaya (myininaya):
you would answer it with a graph
myininaya (myininaya):
you would draw y=3 only for for when x<0
myininaya (myininaya):
do you know how to draw y=3 like without the restriction?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I'm sorry, no.
myininaya (myininaya):
y=3 means you are looking for a line where all the y values will be 3

myininaya (myininaya):
so do you know how to plot the following points:
(-10,3)
(-5,3)
(-1,3)
(0,3)
(1,3)
(5,3)
(10,3)?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes
myininaya (myininaya):
all those points will lie on the y=3 line
myininaya (myininaya):
because all those points have the y equaling 3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Should it would be a linear equation?

myininaya (myininaya):
it is a linear equation
myininaya (myininaya):
use the draw tool there to graph y=3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Gotcha, thanks
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Actually, I think I got it. I just didn't understand what the 3 meant in that equation...
myininaya (myininaya):
oh okay
make sure you only draw part of y=3 since it said for x<0
