how to convert y=-2x^2+3x+5 to the form y=a(x-p)(x-q)? PLEASE

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

factor out a negative ---> -(2x^2 -3x -5) multiply first and last coefficients .... 2*-5 = -10 find 2 numbers that add to "-3" and multiply to "-10" ---> -5 * 2 = -10 ---> -5 + 2 = -3 split up middle term into the 2 numbers found above -(2x^2 +2x -5x -5) use factor by grouping ---> -[2x(x+1) -5(x+1)] ---> -(x+1)(2x-5) Now it is completely factored -(x+1)(2x-5)
