How does one find the range of a triangle? O.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Triangle Inequality Theorem: One side of a triangle is less than the sum of the lengths of the other two. You can show from that statement that the side in question is also greater than the positive difference of the other two.

But what about a formula or something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry... I'm insanely ignorant when it comes to math.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok i dont really know i asked my dad but then he left

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Triangles have three sides. Call them A, B, and C Length of A + Length of B > Length of C Length of A + Length of C > Length of B Length of B + Length of C > Length of A

I have to go to lunch...

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Here's a plan. Stop talking about yourself like that. Who told you you were bad at math? Why did you believe them. Let's try working at it, rather than throwing our hands int he air in despair.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's cute

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Oh, if only you would listen and learn. Of course, you are free to wallow in your low self-esteem for mathematics. I don't recommend it.
