Let f(x) = -2x - 7 and g(x) = -4x + 3. Find (f o g)(-5) someone help

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am going to type a phrase that explains the concept, and when I do the problem, tell me if you get the phrase. The phrase: "To find FoG, you plug what the g(x) is equal to, into the f(x), instead of x. \(\large\color{midnightblue}{f(x) = -2x - 7 \color{red}{ } }\) \(\large\color{midnightblue}{ g(x) = \color{red}{-4x + 3} }\) \(\large\color{midnightblue}{f~o~g~= -2(\color{red}{-4x + 3}) - 7 \color{red}{ } }\) \(\large\color{midnightblue}{f~o~g~= 8x-6 - 7 \color{red}{ } }\) \(\large\color{midnightblue}{f~o~g~= 8x-13 \color{red}{ } }\) for fog of -5, plug in -5 instead of x, into the fog (that we have just found).
